Using porous polyacrylate particle as the support, Generik MC-SCX, WCX, SAX and WAX ion-exchange media are synthesized. Generik MC-SCX is a strong cation exchanger with sulfonate functional group. Generik MC-WCX is a weak cation exchanger with carboxylate functional group. Generik MC-SAX is a strong anion exchanger with quaternary ammonium functional group. Generik MC-WAX is a weak anion exchanger with tertiary amine functional group. The controlled manufacturing process guarantees high batch-to-batch reproducibility. Their high capacity and high mechanical strength enable those media ideal for preparative separation and purification of proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, antibodies, and other biopharmaceuticals.
