Job Description:
Sepax Technologies, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, goal oriented and energetic scientist to join the IEX Production team. This is an entry-level position based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in chemistry
- 1-2 years laboratory/research work experience
- Knowledge of material science a plus
- Experience with HPLC instrumentation
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
- Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment
- Ability to communicate results of experiments through proper record keeping
- Able to lift 40 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Synthesis of polymer materials for chromatographic separation
- Operation of HPLC instruments to characterize polymeric resins
- Perform application experiments under supervision while following Standard Operating Procedure requirements
- Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the laboratory and cleanliness in work areas
- Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training
