Job Description:
Seeking a responsible, detail-oriented and diligent Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will assist with maintaining the accounting functions for a scientific company. This is a full time non-exempt position. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch in our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.

Requirements:

• Recent bachelor’s degree or associate's degree graduate in an accounting or similar business program
• Previous accounting experience required
• Accounting software experience a plus
• ERP system knowledge is helpful
• Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
• Organizing and prioritizing skills
• Communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Mandarin experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Daily reconciliation of book and bank transactions, and assure operation cash flow; generate customer invoices, track and follow up with all accounts receivable in a timely manner
• Monthly invoice statement to customers; process sales expense reports and reimbursements
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedule; month end inventory updates and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and all accounts reconciliation
• Reconcile sales report and calculate commission on a quarterly basis
• Coordinate and process international manufacturing materials/goods
• Assist production team to generate product label and maintain order record
• Assist with other office/procurement support as needed
