Job Description:
Searching for a responsible, detail-oriented and diligent individual to join our accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist with maintaining the accounting functions for a scientific company. This is a full-time non-exempt position. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch in our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in an accounting or similar business program
• Previous accounting experience required
• Accounting software experience a plus
• Knowledge in ERP systems helpful
• Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
• Organizing and prioritizing skills
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Mandarin experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all accounts receivable activities and ensure the compliance of GAAP
• Daily reconciliation of book and bank transactions, and assure operation cash flow; generate customer invoices, track and follow up with all payments in a timely manner
• Contact customers to review and reconcile monthly/quarterly statements
• Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Reconcile sales report and calculate commission on a quarterly basis
• Responsible for sales tax filing on a timely basis
• Coordinate and assist with international manufacturing materials/goods
• Assist with other accounting support as needed
