Job Description:
Seeking an assistant that is responsible, detail oriented and dependable. The individual needs to work closely with the Administrative, HR, Accounting, Quality Control, Inventory, and Production teams to assist with purchase order processing and the operation of the front office including reception responsibilities. This entry-level position is full-time non-exempt from 8:30am to 5:30pm at the headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.
Requirements:
- An associate degree or 2-4 years of related work experience including data entry.
- Some experience in office setting is helpful.
- Positive attitude and customer service experience preferred.
- Good computer skills with MS Office, able to learn new software including utilizing ERP system for day-to-day departmental operations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Responsible with punctuality and attendance.
Responsibilities:
- General office duties such as filing, copying, and providing employee support.
- Assist with maintaining office equipment/inventory and supplies.
- Data entry for processing and shipping customer purchase orders.
- General reception duties such as handling inbound calls, customer email correspondence, greeting visitors, and distributing mail/shipments.
- General housekeeping/upkeep of all office/ work areas and assist with facility maintenance coordination.
- Assist with enhancing office environment, employee events and creating computer generated projects.
- Support with project-based assignments and process development improvements when necessary.
- Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily production functions.
- Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and trainings.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
